\t\t\t \n\tThe first drop will feature the game\u2019s introduction of Disney and Pixar characters Flynn Rider from \u201cTangled,\u201d Merida from \u201cBrave,\u201d and Hades from \u201cHercules,\u201d with appearances by \u201cSleeping Beauty\u201d villain Maleficent, who will be more prominently featured in Part 2. In the second portion, Gameloft devs hint that Princess Aurora a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty will join.<\/p>\n \n\tPer the description for the \u201cWelcome to the Vale\u201d story, \u201cGo on a mythical adventure to help the Lorekeeper restore a far-away land while countering Merida, Flynn and Hades along the way.\u201d And for \u201cThe Unwritten Realms\u201d portion of \u201cThe Storybook Vale\u201d expansion: \u201cWith the help of Maleficent, venture into a strange world beneath the Storybook Vale and solve the mystery of the missing princess.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tWhile there are only two parts to \u201cThe Storybook Vale\u201d paid expansion and there were three for the first paid expansion, \u201cA Rift in Time\u201d (which launched last December), Gameloft developers said during the Tuesday showcase these two portions will include more story in comparison to the divided chapters of \u201cA Rift in Time\u201d that rolled out over the course of the past year.<\/p>\n \n\tIn \u201cThe Storybook Vale\u201d expansion, players will get access to the new net tool to help them catch new creature characters called \u201cSnippets\u201d in order to return Disney and Pixar magic to the pages of the Lorekeeper\u2019s book. The game updated will include three new biomes inside Storybook Vale: The Bind (inspired by dark academia), Ever After (a magical mushroom fairy forest), and Mythopia (a Greco-Roman mythology section). Each of these new biomes will have new animals for players to befriend and turn into companions\u201d: dragons, owls and mini winged horses.<\/p>\n \n\tOn the free update side, \u201cDisney Dreamlight Valley\u201d is launching \u201cSew Delightful\u201d on Dec. 4, which will include the holiday-themed \u201cFrost & Fairies Star Path\u201d featuring \u201cThe Nightmare Before Christmas\u201d character Sally.
