Jeremy Renner has offloaded his Los Angeles home where he recovered from his near-fatal snowplow accident in 2023. <\/p>\n
The Marvel star spent months inside the home in Laurel Canyon, California, undergoing treatment for the injuries he sustained when he was run over by a snowplow on the grounds of his Lake Tahoe, Nevada, ranch in January 2023.<\/p>\n
The accident left the 53-year-old with 38 broken bones and a collapsed lung, which required multiple surgeries and a lengthy rehabilitation process, much of which he completed inside the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom home.<\/p>\n
Once described as his \u201cforever home,\u201d the Oscar nominee put it on the market in a bid to move on from the horrifying accident.<\/p>\n

Picture: Realtor<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Renner told the Wall Street Journal<\/a> that when he purchased the home, it looked very much as it did when it was originally built in the 1960s, joking that there were \u201call these little Star Trek-looking buttons, all the stuff that was kind of cool and hi-tech in the 60s.\u201d<\/p>\n Renner\u2019s extensive upgrades have transformed the home into a modern gem while still keeping some of the original history and charm.<\/p>\n The property boasts a gated driveway, home theatre, guesthouse and recording studio where he has recorded several songs about his near-death experience.<\/p>\n The main bedroom features many luxuries including dual closets and a luxe bathroom. Picture: Realtor<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Renner was fortunate to be able to resume his role on the crime thriller series \u201cMayor of Kingstown\u201d just a year after his accident. <\/p>\n It\u2019s been reported that Renner also has a book in the works that will cover his life-defining accident and his long road to recovery.<\/p>\n He has a real \u201chawkeye\u201d for spotting a great real estate deal because the cashed up actor has made a mint buying, fixing up and flipping homes in Tinseltown. <\/p>\n Before making a name for himself, Renner was buying and renovating property in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n What started as a side hustle with his business partner and fellow \u201cThe Hurt Locker\u201d co-star Kristoffer Winters has become a multimillion-dollar affair with more than 20 homes<\/a> flipped to date, including his mother\u2019s house in Modesto.<\/p>\n The biggest Renner flip on record was a mansion in Holmby Hills he sold in 2013 for $24.95 million.<\/p>\n A single-level mansion sitting on two acres, it has six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, five fireplaces, a theatre, multiple pools and fountains throughout the property.<\/p>\n Renner purchased the pile for $7 million back in 2010.<\/p>\n Parts of this story first appeared in Realtor<\/a> and were republished with permission.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/picture><\/div>\n
