After exploring the nominated islands, players can vote in-game for their favorite, as part of a special fan poll.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe fan poll winner will be announced out of <a data-id=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2024\/gaming\/news\/game-awards-nominations-list-2024-1236213137\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2024\/gaming\/news\/game-awards-nominations-list-2024-1236213137\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the 2024 Game Awards<\/a>, live-streaming out of the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Dec. 12. Fan voting on the island is limited to one vote per Epic ID. Voting runs through Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tSeparate from the voting feature, the Game Awards\u2019 \u201cFortnite\u201d map will let players \u201ccompete in a target shooting arena, unlocking more powerful weapons between rounds as they level up.\u201d The map has leaderboards per round and session, and uses the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN)\u2019s persistence features to retain players\u2019 progress across sessions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cThe Game Awards Vote in Fortnite\u201d is now available using the in-game island code 0853-1358-8532.
